Gordon Street Surgery Patient Group is a group of patients registered with the practice coming together on a regular basis to look at how they can positively influence the development of local health services. It has the health interests of our patients at heart, as well as the progression and growth of the Practice as a whole. The Group can provide the means for patients to make positive suggestions about the Practice and on their own health care. GP News

Most people will now be aware that Drs Ali and Bi decided not to stay with the practice on a permanent basis. Dr Aravind Rakkiannan has since joined as our new partner and we hope you will welcome him in his new post.

Doctor Changes

Dr Hamid Khan officially retired his partnership on 31 March 2008. He will, however, continue to work in the practice on a part-time basis. It is with great pleasure that we welcome two part-time doctors to replace Dr Khan's post. Dr Mukhtar Ali and Dr Azmat Bi will job share and you will be seeing them in the surgery within the next few weeks.
